When you use GeoEngine, we collect the website URL you submit, your email address (if provided), and the audit results generated for your brand. We also collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Run your AI brand visibility audit and return results
• Send you your audit report by email (if you provide your email)
• Improve our product and fix bugs
• Communicate with you about your account and new features

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate GeoEngine (such as our cloud infrastructure and payment processor), and only to the extent required to provide our services. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Third-party AI services

To run your audit, we send search queries to third-party AI services (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity). These queries do not include your personal information — they are generic industry and location queries similar to what any customer might ask. Each provider's privacy policy governs their handling of that data.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your session and remember your login state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

Audit results are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days. Anonymous usage logs may be retained for up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

GeoEngine is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of GeoEngine after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
